The Birth of Acts of Grace

Natalie, Grace, and Francisco

Acts of Grace Project, Inc. was founded by Natalie Leon, a catalyst for change whose personal journey laid the foundation for the organization. Natalie's childhood, marked by overcoming adversity, instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Her resilience has guided her through a successful career in communications, marketing, and entrepreneurship, where she has earned recognition for her innovative and community-focused approach.

In 2021, amidst the challenges of the global pandemic, Natalie welcomed her daughter, Grace, into the world. Becoming a mother without family support during such an unprecedented time profoundly transformed her and marked a period of deep healing. Together with her life partner, Francisco, she ensured that Grace received the love and care every child deserves. This chapter of her life ignited a profound passion for creating intentional change in both her life and the world.

Reflecting on her journey, Natalie recognized that her life had been a series of events leading to the creation of Acts of Grace Project. From overcoming personal tragedy at a young age—losing her mother at the hands of her father—to building a successful career after college and becoming an award-winning entrepreneur during the 2009 economic crisis, to working with seniors and becoming a mother while breaking free from an unhealthy family system during the pandemic, every experience contributed to her vision for the organization. Her previous award-winning projects before Acts of Grace Project, including NAT-PR, INC., a boutique PR agency, her personal brand 'Wine With Nat,' and the community-focused 'Women Who Wine,' showcased her ability to create purpose-driven projects.

However, it was the birth of her daughter, Grace, that truly inspired the creation of Acts of Grace Project, Inc. Grace’s arrival, coupled with the challenges and joys of motherhood without a village in a country that does not honor motherhood, along with Natalie’s work in local government, became the catalyst for establishing a nonprofit dedicated to fostering acts of grace within communities. Acts of Grace is more than just an organization; it is a reflection of Natalie’s journey, a testament to resilience, and a commitment to honoring our stories and advocating for compassion for all.

Today, Acts of Grace Project, Inc. operates on the belief that even small acts of grace can create significant ripple effects within humanity and communities. The organization focuses on providing practical guidance and stories through the Living with Grace video platform, while also developing projects that uplift individual and community well-being (more coming soon).
